One of the most enriching characteristics of a being a college professor is the ability to reflect and update one's course from semester to semester to improve delivery and ultimately student success. Being a Career Technical Education (CTE) instructor, technology is always changing and I am constantly looking at new ways to keep content fresh and to use new tools in the classroom for both on ground and online courses. I have heavily incorporated Zoom into several aspects of courses that I teach. I feel the largest success factor of Zoom was the Fall CSIT120 online student's use of Zoom to complete their final projects covering a virtual reality implementation. Next semester, I plan on allowing CSIT120 online students the ability to join on ground class sessions via Zoom. Stay tuned for the results of this Spring2016 experiment.
